Aluminum Rectangles in Series 6061-T6 are known for their versatility and good mechanical properties, along with corrosion resistance. This alloy is the least expensive and most versatile of the heat-treatable aluminum alloys, offering a range of good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It can be fabricated by most commonly used techniques and is suitable for a wide variety of applications, from truck bodies and frames to screw machine parts and structural components. Commonly used where appearance, better corrosion resistance, and good strength are required. Available in various sizes. Grades: ASTM B221, AMS 4173. Industries of use: Automotive, construction, manufacturing.
